About Safety, Insurance and Ability Level
Please read all the information below thoroughly.
Please buy a ski travel insurance in your home country and check if the insurance coverage is sufficient.
Check your coverage by reading the information below.

  1. Skiresorts
  2. Heli, Catskiing
  3. Back Country
  4. Ability Level
When you decide to join our backcountry trips you are always required to:
- to read, understand and sign our liability forms;
- to wear an avalanche beacon and carry a probe and shovel;

There is a safety training program to complete before the backcountry tour. When evacuation by helicopter is required, the cost is your responsibility. We strongly recommend you carry insurance for this type of ambulance service.

Please check your insurance:
- What your insurance means by 'Back Country'. Mostly this will be classed as ‘specialist’ and is only covered with additional costs.
- Check the maximum amount which is covered.
- All info already mentioned in section about Ski resorts.
